StyleLikeU Gets Real With The "What's Underneath" Project
Another web surfing find :) So... I stumbled upon this website, StyleLikeU that is doing something da bomb. Founded by a mother-daughter duo, the website "honors individuals with authentic personal style and a product of their creation has been their web series or as they call it project, entitled "What's Underneath."
In every webisode they sit down with a creatively fierce individual, as they strip down literally and figuratively. In one video, model, Shaun Ross sheds his clothes as he gets real on growing up as a black, openly gay, albino, youngin' in the streets of the Bronx and he spills some serious life game. My favorite part:
"This is life right now, you're not gonna get 21 again. You're not gunna get 30 again. You might as well do everything that you want to do now and do it well... even with lovers. Don't fuck up, don't just be dumb and let good things go. Do it now. If you know that you want to love somebody and you know that you want to give them your all, give them your all then, now, right now. Why do you have to do the chase and the back-n-forth and the games? Like why?"
More that caught my eye...
